Leak Tester and Leak Detector Automatic Calibration Guide

How does a leakage tester calibrate differential pressure sensors and direct pressure sensors? This is a particularly headache-inducing problem for many users. This article will elaborate on each of the industry's challenges one by one.

1. Calibrate the differential pressure sensor

Turn off the gas source pressure or adjust the air pressure to the lowest level (0) through the pressure reducing valve. Then, point the test port to the atmosphere. At this point, the sensor detects a pressure of 0. On the differential pressure sensor calibration interface, click "Differential Pressure Sensor Zero Point Calibration". After the check is completed, the screen will display "The zero point check of the differential pressure sensor is completed and saved." . Then the full-scale detection of the sensor is carried out.

2. Differential pressure sensor calibration screen: Standard metering output, full-scale calibration

After entering the calibration full-scale interface, connect the reference gauge and the pressure generator to the standard port (REF). The connection method is shown in the reference. Refer to the reading of the reference gauge and adjust the pressure generator to make the pressure reading close to the full scale of the sensor. If the reading of the reference meter is different from that of the instrument, press the confirmation key to enter the editing state and input the reading of the reference meter to perform full-scale calibration. After calibration is completed, the calibration data will be automatically saved.
