The differential pressure air tightness tester verifies product sealing performance and waterproof grade. It uses compressed air as the test medium and judges results mainly by the pressure difference between a reference part and the part under test. It suits waterproof and air tightness testing of electronics, security devices and automotive parts that require high accuracy.
Working principle of the differential pressure air tightness tester

Equipped with an imported differential pressure sensor, the tester reaches a resolution of 0.1 Pa and has clear advantages for products with high test requirements or noticeable deformation, such as underwater surveillance cameras, underwater cable connectors, battery modules and medical devices.
Working principle: the part under test and the reference part are charged with the same amount of air at the same pressure and held for a set time so that the pressures balance. The instrument then observes the pressure change of the part under test relative to the reference and measures it with a differential pressure sensor. This is advantageous when high accuracy is required or when the product deforms noticeably after charging, because differential pressure testing cancels dynamic errors and improves test stability.
Test method: connect a master part to the reference port marked on the tester (the master can be a part verified by several methods and confirmed as a benchmark for other identical parts). Then charge the master and the part under test at the same time (charging pressure and time are defined by the leak-test process). After a balance time of several to tens of seconds, the tester automatically isolates the master from the test cavity, monitors the pressure for several to tens of seconds and compares the two readings. The difference is the pressure leak value of the test cavity: if it is within the allowed range the part passes, otherwise it fails.
