Solenoid Valve Testing System Solution

The system adopts a multi-station design concept, featuring semi-automated, offline testing. Semi-automated means that the operator needs to manually place the test item onto the test fixture, and after automatic testing is completed, manually unload it. After the item is placed and positioned in the fixture, the test button is pressed, and the rotary table automatically executes actions in sequence, including electrical performance testing, flow testing, sealing test marking, and other steps. Upon completion of testing, the fixture automatically resets and returns to the original station, with each station providing a pass indication. If a test fails, an audible and visual alarm is triggered to alert the operator, ensuring no misoperation occurs.

Description of each station:

1 station:  The operator simply places the workpiece into the fixture and presses the confirm button, then can walk away.

2-station:  Perform electrical performance and valve stroke testing

    It can test the voltage, resistance, and current of solenoid valves. At a negative pressure of -80KPa, with a rated input voltage of 8V, it can operate normally with a current not exceeding 0.4A, and undergoes a 1500V withstand voltage test (AC) (inter-turn insulation test). A laser displacement sensor is used to test the valve stroke.

3-station: integrated action characteristics and flow testing

When there is no negative pressure and when the negative pressure is -80KPa, the solenoid valve can operate normally when the power is turned on; when the power is turned on (the two air ports are connected), and when the power is turned off, the solenoid valve stops working (the two air ports are not connected, and the air port connected to the vacuum actuator must have air entering). When powered on: at -30KPa negative pressure, flow rate ≥16L/min  When powered off: at -30KPa negative pressure, flow rate ≥12L/min

4-station: sealing performance test:

        At a rated voltage of 8-16V, both in the non-energized and energized states, with a negative pressure of -80KPa set, the maximum leakage is <2.0mL/min.

5-station: spare (other test contents can be added in the future)

6-station: marking and unloading station

This station performs pneumatic marking on products that pass the test, and the marking content is linked to the test content of the previous stations and stored in the computer. After marking, the manipulator automatically takes out the qualified products and places them into the qualified product bin. Unqualified products are no longer marked and are placed into the unqualified bin by the manipulator.
